Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 400 Block of Seward Square, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Saturday, August 10, 2019, in the 400 block of Seward Square, Southeast.

At approximately 12:00 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect struck the victim with a brick and fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Saturday, August 10, 2019, 39-year-old Troy Bolden of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
