Suspect Sought in a Robbery (Force and Violence) Offense: 1500 Block of D Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Friday, September 6, 2019, in the 1500 block of D Street, Southeast.
At approximately 4:44 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below and in this video:
