BBQ Battle in DC

This year’s Annual Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle consisted of a combination of barbecue and business. This event was jam-packed with multiple award-winning franchises in attendance for this clash of barbecues and recipes. All of the franchises competing to be deemed the champion of barbecue in the nation, and what better place to hash it out than inside the nation’s capital. The battle took place directly up the street from the White House so it isn’t hard to imagine the pressure that puts on all businesses.

In addition to all the barbecue madness, there were refreshments by Pepsi, Hubert’s Lemonade, and many other well-known franchises also to accompany the festivities. This event had everything you could ask for with good food, good drinks, and good music. There were live performances that took place in which were sponsored by Monster and Famous Dave’s.

On top of this cultural clash of foods when the sun was a little too much and you felt like you could use some air conditioning, there was even a chill zone. The chill zone was a tent that provided a cool mist where you could relax and rehydrate with your beverages inside. To sum this experience up, in short, it was a finger-licking fantasy.
