Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 100 Block of M Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Monday, February 3, 2020, in the 100 block of M Street, Northeast.
                                                                                                                
At approximately 6:04 pm, the suspect and two victims were involved in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a hammer and assaulted the victims. The suspect then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Monday, February 3, 2020, 48 year-old Duane Dvio Allen, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
