Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 3800 Block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, September 16, 2019, in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast.

At approximately 5:18 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

Monday, September 16, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 28 year-old Patrick Brown, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
