Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1300 Block of Bryant Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, August 5, 2019, in the 1300 block of Bryant Street, Northeast.

At approximately 7:24 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect stabbed the victim and then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, August 5, 2019, 22-year-old Bryant Reginal Mayo, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
