Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: Interstate 295 Southbound at Howard Road, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, on Interstate 295 Southbound at Howard Road, Southeast.

At approximately 11:39 pm, the suspect pointed a handgun from their vehicle at the victims in their vehicle at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene.

On Friday, November 8, 2019, 39 year-old Aaron Gipson, of Capitol Heights, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
