Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 3300 Block of Minnesota Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, December 27, 2019, in the 3300 block of Minnesota Avenue, Southeast.

At approximately 1:50 am, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot the victims. The suspect then fled the scene.

On Friday, December 27, 2019, 27 year-old Hiawatha Henry, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
