Arrest Made in a Sex Trafficking of Children Offense

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division and Special Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Sex Trafficking of Children offense that occurred in Washington, DC.

In August 2019, the suspect contacted an undercover officer online for the purpose of engaging in a sexual act with a juvenile in the District of Columbia.

On Thursday, August 29, 2019, 27-year-old Marlon Dewalt, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested and charged with Sex Trafficking of Children.
